Agent Alpha: Web of Conspiracy Seeks $25,000 for Production
Hebron, CT – February 2025 – Connecticut filmmaker Thomas Blackmore is launching crowdfunding campaigns on Indiegogo, Kickstarter, and Crowdfunder to raise $25,000 for the production of his five-part web series, Agent Alpha: Web of Conspiracy. Filming is set to take place from May to August 2025, and Blackmore is calling on his local community and film enthusiasts to support this passion project as he takes the next step in his career.
A recent graduate of CT State Middlesex, Blackmore’s filmmaking journey began at RHAM High School before he transferred to Arts at the Capitol Theater (ACT) in Willimantic, where he refined his skills in storytelling and production.
Agent Alpha: Web of Conspiracy is a brand-new, fully fleshed-out story inspired by Blackmore’s 2023 short film Agent Alpha, which competed in the Quiet Corner Film Festival. Rather than being a remake or direct sequel, the web series expands upon the themes and concepts of the original, introducing a more intricate narrative, deeper character development, and an engaging, high-stakes espionage storyline.
In 2024, Blackmore produced a pilot episode of Agent Alpha: Web of Conspiracy as a capstone project at CT State Middlesex. The pilot went on to be selected and compete in the Lift-Off Global Network’s Online Festival in January 2025, further validating the potential of the series.
His previous work includes the 2024 short film Triumph, which earned a Special Mention in the One Reeler Short Film Competition, an online festival based in Los Angeles.
